Meet Janelle Jacob

My name is Janelle Jacob, founder and owner of Drawn to Helping Others, LLC, a mobile phlebotomy company dedicated to providing compassionate, convenient, and professional healthcare services throughout Connecticut.

With more than eight years of experience in phlebotomy, I have built my career around one simple belief: healthcare should be accessible, compassionate, and centered around the needs of every patient. In 2022, I founded Drawn to Helping Others to bring professional specimen collection services directly to individuals, families, healthcare providers, and community organizations.

My greatest inspiration has always been my children. When my son, now 28 years old, was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of three, my life changed forever. Navigating the healthcare system as a parent during one of the most difficult times in my family's life gave me a firsthand understanding of the importance of compassion, support, and quality care.

That experience profoundly shaped my perspective on healthcare and inspired my commitment to helping others. I learned how meaningful it is when healthcare professionals take the time to listen, provide comfort, and deliver care with kindness and understanding. Those experiences continue to guide me in every patient interaction.

As a mobile phlebotomist, I understand that many individuals face challenges such as transportation difficulties, mobility limitations, busy schedules, or medical anxiety. My goal is to remove those barriers by bringing dependable and professional healthcare services directly to patients in the comfort of their homes, workplaces, or care facilities.

Through Drawn to Helping Others, I am committed to providing accurate, reliable, and compassionate services while building trusting relationships within the communities I serve. My mission is to continue expanding access to healthcare throughout Connecticut and to create meaningful partnerships that improve patient care.

For me, helping others is more than a profession — it is a calling that was born from personal experience, strengthened through years of service, and inspired by the resilience of my family.
